BIOGRAPHY

By the end of 2007, after my returns from a 9 month stay in China,
(spending most of my time and hard owned money on trotting this globe) I met visual artist Fanny Zaman. She invited me to assist her on a project on natural group dynamics in the centre of China. From this a 40 minute essay film: "Song Mountain Area" was made.
After that several other projects followed: "D Plus One" filmed in the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange in Addis Ababa, "Local" and "Algorithm" filmed in London, Brussels and Antwerp.
After participating on one project as Assistant Director and another project behind the camera and Co-Directing in 2016, I finished "Trinitite" in 2018, with the support of the Flemish Audiovisual Fund and together again with Fanny Zaman. By the end of 2018 I started my latest project. Together with Dirk Elsen during a period of six months, we followed a group of elderly people in a home and tried to capture their dwindling memories.
